Beaumont Hospital to close 52 beds

Beaumont Hospital in Dublin is to close more than 50 beds in the next fortnight as it attempts to stay within its budget.

Some 33 beds in a day ward will close at the end of this week, while a further 19 will be closed in the next two weeks.
