Diverted flights arrive in Cork and Shannon

The first diverted flights have begun arriving at Cork and Shannon airports after the risk from volcanic ash forced the closure of airspace over the northern half of the country.

Further flight cancellations are likely later in the day as the ash cloud moves further south over the country.
