Communication Workers Union conference begins in Galway

The union which represents workers in the postal, communications, call centre and technology sector begins its biennial conference later today.

Around 400 delegates of the Communication Workers Union will gather in Co Wexford to discuss issues like pay, equality and health and safety.

The general secretary of the Irish Congress of Trade Unions, David Begg, will address the conference on Friday.
