Ryan book of condolences to open tomorrow

RTE is to open a book of condolences for Gerry Ryan tomorrow at noon.

The 53-year-old broadcaster was found dead in his Dublin apartment this afternoon after complaining of feeling ill last night.

He is survived by his estranged wife Morah and their five children.

Tributes have flooded in for the broadcaster - led by the Taoiseach Brian Cowen and President Mary McAleese.
