House prices in the country's two largest cities have dropped since last month, according to figures released today.

House prices in the country's two largest cities have dropped since last month, according to figures released today.

Cork has seen the biggest fall, according to Property Week, with a three-bedroomed home in the city costing €239,000 on average, an overall drop of 6% in the past two months alone.

A three-bedroomed home in Dublin now stands at just more than €346,000 - a drop of 1.1%.

Property prices in Galway are holding steady however at €251,000, the report states.
