The disruption caused by a protesting group of truckers in support of Quinn Insurance in Dublin today was not as bad as anticipated.

The organisers made the decision around 9am to separate the 300 vehicles into two groups, sending only 50 into the city centre - with the remaining lorries staying round the M50.
