Man killed in accident named

Gardaí have named a man killed in a road accident on Friday night as Kevin McInerney - a pedestrian who was struck by a car on Annesley Bridge in Fairview in Dublin.

Mr McInerney had been living in hostels in the Dublin area for the last 10 years. It is believed that he was originally from the Roxboro area of Limerick City.
