The Tánaiste Mary Coughlan has said there are no plans for legislation to seek the return of a €1m bonus paid to the former Irish Nationwide boss Michael Fingleton.

The Tánaiste Mary Coughlan has said there are no plans for legislation to seek the return of a €1m bonus paid to the former Irish Nationwide boss Michael Fingleton.

However she told the Dáil that it is the Government's view that Mr Fingleton should give back the money, and every effort should be made to ensure that happens.
