Banks 'do not respect Taoiseach', says Kenny

The country’s banks have shown utter disrespect to the office of the Taoiseach, it was claimed today.

Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny said bosses at major financial institutions treated Brian Cowen this way because he oversaw the light-touch attitude towards regulation while Finance Minister.
