Man arrested in connection with Palace Barracks bomb

A man has been arrested in connection with a car bomb attack on the headquarters of MI5 in the north.

The 29-year-old suspect was detained in north Belfast this morning.

The Real IRA had claimed to be behind the bomb at Palace Barracks in Holywood, Co Down, earlier this month which exploded minutes after the devolution of policing and justice powers.

A 30-year-old man arrested in the Ardoyne area of north Belfast in connection with the attack last week was later released without charge.
