Group pledges to oppose water charges

A group opposed to the introduction of water rates is threatening a mass campaign of civil disobedience.

The Anti-Water Tax Campaign was responding to confirmation yesterday by the Environment Minister John Gormley that householders will have water meters installed from next year.
