Burton: Country will pay high price for recovery

Deputy leader of the Labour Party Joan Burton has warned there will be a high price to pay for recovery in the economy - even with her party in Government.

Criticism of the Government's policies, the banks and bankers has taken centre stage at Labour's annual conference in Galway today.

Former leader Pat Rabbitte earlier called for the Criminal Assets Bureau to seize the assets of bankers under criminal investigation by gardaí.
