Gilmore: Labour can lead next Government

Labour Party leader Eamon Gilmore says he still believes his party can lead the next Government.

He made the remarks ahead of the party's national conference in Galway this weekend which will attended by upwards of a thousand delegates.

Labour will discuss a motion to abolish the Seanad, refund public sector workers their pay cuts, along with the banking crisis, the economy and the health service at the party conference this weekend.
