Andrews: Child contact centres due within a year

The Children's Minister Barry Andrews has said he hopes that two pilot child contact centres will be up and running within twelve months.

One Family, which represents lone parents, says the centres which provide a neutral environment for separated parents to bring children for visits, are needed to that children can get to know both parents.
