Data Commissioner orders HSE to tighten data security

The Data Protection Commissioner Billy Hawkes is calling on the HSE to increase security of patient information.

And in his annual report for 2009, the Data Protection Commissioner has called on all state bodies to take greater care in this area, in terms of what personal information they share among themselves.
