Gardaí probe attempted ATM robbery in Cork
Gardaí in Cork are investigating the use of a JCB in an attempted ATM robbery in Carrigaline.
A gang of raiders tried to take the cash machine from the Maxol station in Shannonpark at 4am this morning.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who used the main Cork to Carrigaline Road between 3-4am to contact them at Togher garda station on 021 4947120.
It has emerged that a second incident occurred at 5.30 am when four masked raiders rammed the Bank of Ireland ATM on Kilree St in Bagnelstown using a 4x4 car.
