Farrell murder investigation continues one year on

Gardaí have carried out interviews abroad in relation to the murder of Matt Farrell, it has emerged.

It has been one year since the Offaly publican was found dead at his home in Daingean.

The 64-year-old was victim of a vicious assault, which occurred during a robbery at his pub on the town's Main Street.

Gardaí are today re-iterating their appeal for information. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Tullamore garda station.
