Public sector pay talks adjourned until tonight

Talks between Government and union officials over public sector pay have broken up.

The overnight discussions at Croke Park focussed largely on transformation in the public service with nothing specific tabled on the issue of pay.

The Chairman of the Labour Relations Commission says talks have been adjourned until 7pm this evening as the parties are 'exhausted'.
