Ex-FF minister: Cowen must consider his leadership position

Former Junior Minister John McGuinness has called on Brian Cowen to consider his position as Fianna Fáil leader and Taoiseach.

Speaking to KCLR 96fm Mr McGuinness accused Mr Cowen of "putting his party and tribalism first".

He said Mr Cowen lacked vision, imagination and strategy.

However he refused to say if he supported anyone else for the leadership.
