Brady 'undermines Church's stance on child protection'
Survivors of clerical child abuse say the Church can't continue to have Cardinal Sean Brady at the helm in Ireland after it emerged he covered up allegations of abuse in the 1970's.
The Primate of All Ireland apologised for anyone he has let down yesterday.
He represented the Church at meetings with two teenage victims of notorious abuser Fr Brendan Smyth in 1975 when the victims were asked to sign an oath of secrecy.
Survivor Andrew Madden has said keeping Cardinal Brady in his position undermines the Church's stance on child protection.
