Reform of US immigration system may benefit Ireland

The US president Barack Obama has told the Taoiseach Brian Cowen that he is committed to reforming America's immigration system - a move which would benefit the Irish.

He made the remarks last night during a special St Patrick's day reception for the Taoiseach and his wife Mary at the White House.
