Clinton: Obama would love to come to Ireland
US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has said that President Obama wishes to visit Ireland as soon as his domestic diary is clear.
She made the remarks following a meeting with the Foreign Affairs Minister Micheál Martin in Washington.
Mrs Clinton, who will be the guest of honour at the American Ireland fund dinner in Washington tonight, says she herself will be spending an hour in Ireland tomorrow - to celebrate St Patrick's day en route to Russia.
