Cowen to take part in Chicago parade

Taoiseach Brian Cowen will today walk in the St Patrick’s Day parade in the city of Chicago ahead of his visit to the White House.

Mr Cowen will attend Mass in St Patrick’s Cathedral in the city, which will dye the Chicago River green for the celebrations.
