Monaghan GAA lotto scam trial collapses

The trial of a Monaghan man accused of stealing from his local GAA in a Lotto scam has collapsed at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.

Judge Desmond Hogan directed the jury to return a not guilty verdict on all counts after considering submissions from prosecution and defence counel at the close of the State’s case.
