Boxer Taylor on White House guest list

Champion boxer Katie Taylor is on the guest list for the Saint Patrick's Day celebrations at the White House.

She is going to be an official guest of President Barack Obama, but it seems she has the First Lady to thank for the honour.

Apparently Michelle Obama was involved in boxing when she was younger and she is keen to have the Wicklow woman in the Irish delegation for the occasion.
