Gardaí investigate fatal hit-and-run

Gardaí in Kerry are appealing for witnesses to a fatal hit-and-run in which a pedestrian was struck by a car in the Tinnahally area.

The 51-year-old man died after being hit on the Milltown Road at around 8.30pm last night.

The road remains closed for a forensic examination and is expected to re-open at around 2pm this afternoon.
