Israeli Embassy bomb alert declared false alarm

The Defence Forces have declared the discovery of a suspicious device outside the Israeli Embassy in Dublin a false alarm.

The army bomb disposal team were called to the scene on Pembroke Road at around 11.30am this morning.

However, the device was not a bomb and the area has since reopened.
