Shooting victim's father says 'internment not the answer'

The father of a man who was murdered in Limerick yesterday has said he believes internment of known gang criminals is not the solution to tackling gang crime in the city.

The Mayor of Limerick Kevin Keily said yesterday that measures introduced by the Government to deal with gang crime don't go far enough and selective internment should now be considered.
