Limerick: Man arrested in Francie Green investigation

A man has been arrested in Limerick in connection with the discovery of a body two weeks ago.

A man has been arrested in Limerick in connection with the discovery of a body two weeks ago.

The body of 48-year-old Francis ('Francie') Green was found on the banks of the River Shannon near Cratloe in Co Clare on February 5.

Mr Green had been missing since last November.

The man, who is in his twenties, is being questioned at Limerick's Henry St garda station under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
