Michael O'Leary said tonight that his proposal to create 300 jobs at Dublin Airport is now effectively gone.

The Ryanair boss made the comments after a meeting with the Tánaiste this evening.

He is demanding Hangar 6 at the airport, but the Government is insisting its not available because Aer Lingus is using it.

The Tánaiste said that she is disappointed, especially at the stance taken by the Ryanair boss.

She earlier told the Dáil that O'Leary could do what he did at Prestwick Airport in Glasgow and build a new hangar.
