Under-fire Tánaiste Mary Coughlan was tonight considering meeting Ryanair boss Micheal O’Leary to secure 300 jobs promised by the airline.

Ms Coughlan hit back at the airline’s claims that Government ignored its offer of 500 new engineering posts at Dublin Airport, insisting every effort was made to land the jobs.
