Gardaí probe discovery of body in Mullingar

Gardaí have launched an investigation after a body was found at a house in Mullingar this morning.

The body was discovered at around 7am at a house on Grove Street.

It remains at the scene where it will be examined shortly by the State Pathologist.

Mullingar gardaí are not yet confirming any further details, however they say the Garda Criminal Bureau of Investigation has also been called to the scene.
