Search for missing fisherman to resume tomorrow

The search for a fisherman in his mid-30s missing off the west Cork coast has been wound down for the night.

It is understood the man - a foreign national - fell from a trawler some 11 miles off Fastnet Rock in the early hours of this morning.

The coastguard and local rescue teams will resume their efforts to find the fisherman at first light tomorrow.
