Four fire engines are battling a blaze on Capel Street in Dublin city centre this morning.

The alarm was raised at around 6.25am

There is no indication yet as to the cause of the fire.

The street has now been closed to traffic and visibility in the area is said to be very poor so the advice is to avoid it if possible.

Red line Luas services are unaffected.
