CSO: New car licences down

The number of new cars licensed last month was down almost 5% on January 2009, according to the latest data from the Central Statistics Office.

There were 10,469 new prvate cars licensed in January 2010, compared with 10,996 in January 2009, a decrease of 4.8%.
