A Wicklow mother who acted as “a look-out” for her ex-boyfriend when he stole over €40,000 worth of designer items from a Dun Laoghaire boutique three years ago has been given a partly suspended sentence.

A Wicklow mother who acted as “a look-out” for her ex-boyfriend when he stole over €40,000 worth of designer items from a Dun Laoghaire boutique three years ago has been given a partly suspended sentence.

Sonia Kennedy (aged 26), was described as “the unluckiest woman in Ireland” by Judge Tony Hunt last month after a bench warrant was issued for her arrest when she left Dublin Circuit Criminal Court just before she was due to be sentenced.
