Mater strike to go ahead on Monday
Strike action at the Mater Private Hospital in Dublin will go ahead from Monday morning.
Talks at the Labour Relations Commission between unions and hospital management broke down last night.
The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation and Siptu are in dispute over the introduction of pay cuts of between 5% and 10%.
Industrial relations officer with the INMO Albert Murphy said that despite a full withdrawal of labour, there was no risk to patient safety.
