A man is to be sentenced at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court for dousing himself in petrol and threatening to set himself alight in Tallaght garda station last year.

Paul Leonard (aged 29) of Fettercairn Road, Tallaght pleaded guilty to creating a substantial risk of death or serious harm by pouring petrol on himself and, while holding a cigarette lighter, threatening to set himself on fire on January 6, 2009 at Tallaght garda station.
