Govt urged to take further action on implementing Ryan Report
The Government needs to take further action on the Ryan Report Implementation Plan.
That's according to the Childrens Rights Alliance who will today grade the Government on its progress in following through on key commitments .
Last year's report card awarded an overall 'D' Grade to the Government, but that has slipped to a 'D minus' this year
"The Childrens Rights Alliance gave the Government a good grade for the implementation plan (on the Ryan Report)," said Alliance CEO Jillian Van Turnhout.
"But in fact the actions still have to be implemented, and this report card is all about implementation.
"It's not about promises, it's about keeping your promises, and delivering on those promises."
