Gardaí arrest two in burglary probe
Gardaí investigating an aggravated burglary in Dunboyne in Co. Meath earlier this week have arrested two people.
Two men wearing balaclavas entered a house just before midnight on Wednesday night and gardaí believe they were armed.
Two people were in the house at the time - they weren't injured but the raiders made off with a small amount of cash.
Two men - aged 24 and 41 - were later arrested in Blanchardstown in connection with the incident.
They were detained under Section 30 of the Offences against the State Act at Navan garda station.
A firearm and knife has also been recovered.
