Limerick gardaí question man in connection with disappearance

A 27-year-old man is being questioned by gardaí in Limerick in connection with the disapearance of a 48-year-old man.

A 27-year-old man is being questioned by gardaí in Limerick in connection with the disapearance of a 48-year-old man.

Francis Greene hasn't been seen for almost two months and was last seen near his home at Hartstonge Street in the city centre on November 28, last year.

Gardaí say the man arrested today is being questioned on suspicion of falsely imprisoning Mr Greene.

He is being detained at Henry Street garda station.
