McCreevy expresses doubts over VHI regulation

EU Commissioner Charlie McCreevy has expressed doubts about whether the VHI will ever be fully regulated.

In December, Health Minister Mary Harney gave the insurance company more time to get capital together before it comes under the remit of the Financial Regulator, the deadline for which has now been set for March 31.
