Gormley and Cowen 'make progress' in banking-inquiry talks

John Gormley and Brian Cowen have "made progress" in talks about what format an inquiry into the banking crisis will take.

Further talks between the Green Party leader and Taoiseach are planned before a decision is made at tomorrow's Cabinet meeting.
