A jury was has been sworn in for the trial of a Cork man accused of murdering his father in the Central Criminal Court today.

David Hyland (aged 27) of Auburne, St Francis’s Avenue, off College Road, Cork, pleaded not guilty to the murder of his father John Hyland (aged 69) at the same address between July 11 and 12, 2008.
