Aer Lingus pilots agree in principle to cost-cutting plan
Aer Lingus pilots have voted to accept a €30m cost cutting plan.
The deal includes pay cuts of 10% and a total of 76 redundancies.
Some aspects of the plan, which were brokered by the Labour Relations Commission, have been rejected on the basis of legal advice obtained by the Irish Airline Pilots Association.
The IALPA will now engage with Aer Lingus management to agree the implementation of the deal.
