The Irish Independent reports today that the audit reports reveal serious concerns have been raised over financial activities in FAS.

One audit is understood to show that more than €800,000 was spent using corporate credit cards in just seven years.

Other evidence obtained by the newspaper show that invoices were submitted without work being carried out and corporate affairs staff bypassed FAS' designated travel agent when booking flights and hotels.
