Weather hits national phone network

The weather has caused disruptions to eircom’s phone network across the country, it has emerged.

More than 8,000 faults have already been cleared this week alone, with an additional 1,757 faults have been reported in the past 24 hours. The current number of total faults stands now at 5,134.
