Decision due on gas price reduction

The Commission for Energy Regulation is meeting at the moment to decide on whether to reduce gas prices.

Householders, as well as businesses may be in line for an average 8% decrease on bills from next month.

This is the cut recommended by Bord Gáis.

An announcement from the regulator is due in the next few hours.
