Death of actor Donal Donnelly

Actor Donal Donnelly has died

The 78-year-old, who was based in the US, had been ill for some time and died in Chicago yesterday

Minister Martin Cullen praised him as "one of the first Irish success stories".

Donal Donelly had a successful career in film, including roles in Francis Ford Coppola's 'The Godfather 3' and John Huston's 'The Dead'.
