Longford death: Man due in court

A man is due in court today charged in connection with an assault in Longford Town on New Year's Eve.

Fifty-nine-year-old Noel Keegan from Farnagh in Longford Town died following the incident on Park Road.

Another woman arrested as part of the investigation has been released without charge.
